Catching up

Gosh, have not posted in a while - have been busy, busy with preparations for Craft Fairs, Easter and all the heaps of family stuff that happens around here ...Lent seems to have whizzed by so quickly and here we are on Easter Half Term - the SATS and mock GCSE exams are looming but the major concern at this very moment is chomping through the pile of chocolate received over the weekend - still some left, but not for long ! 14 Days to go ......

Very busy lately as I have had Fairs every weekend for the last month, can have a rest this week as I only have one order to complete and just the coffee morning to prepare for on Sunday....snatched a little time to update the blog as I'm under orders to wait in for a delivery for Mr H today....not my speciality - waiting....I suppose there is always the laundry pile...but that can wait a little longer.....

Honestly where does all the time go ? Family life , homework, secret Christmas shopping, prearations for the Christmas Fair, craft Fairs.....the list is endless and still no Christmas cake made...just wish there were a few more hours in the day sometimes....I have a batch of Christmas scones in the oven at the moment, they smell lovely - I do a rich scone dough with egg added and a generous amount of sweet mincemeat and orange zest - they freeze really well ... I'm going to serve them with brandy cream, very festive - I hope...
