Catch up

Have not been here for a while, family life and stuff sometimes takes over and there is no time left for blogging fun. After a few weeks of wet, windy and miserable weather the sun has managed to appear this afternoon and dare I say it, we have blue sky. I suddenly feel lifted and cheerful, everything in life looks better!

Have just come home from a lovely week away in Wales - sunshine, beaches, rest, family ..... Really did not want to come home but feeling better about it now we've been home a few days!

Strawberries before my eyes

Only 4 days to go until the Strawberry Fair, I am now on my 3rd long list, lots of sewing over the last few weeks, bunting for the counter is finished, many floor plans drawn up and scribbled out and of course there is still endless baking but feeling ok....I know everything will be fine! ......Arrrgghhhhh!! Just had to get that little yell out of the way, I think it 's good to have a bit of a scream and shout every now and then- clears the mind and all that sort of thing...
Hopefully will have some good pictures to share after the event ( must not forget camera!)

The sunshine continues as does the crafting ..... carefully nurturing my little strawberry plants in the garden for the fair - they are coming along nicely, set to fruit in August.
Just one day left of the school hols now for child no. 3 - big girl is all done and dusted except for one last GCSE paper next week - FP is braving the school bus alone now and can not wait for the end of term in 6 weeks, she's been working really hard on GCSE papers the last few weeks also.....time rushes on, nearly another year older - do not really want to think about that .....
